Workshop Invitation

As part of NOT YET de(part), the AAIS invites you to a series of workshops at Brøtsøbruddet ahead of Færderbiennalen 2026.

Spatial Design Construction

Wednesday 3. June: 10:00–13:00 & 14:30–17:30
Thursday 4. June: 14:30–17:30
Location: Brøtsøbruddet
Audience: Architects, students and professionals interested in architecture, set design and construction

The AAIS invites individuals and professionals with an interest in architecture, set design, and construction to participate in the collective, modular construction of a tangible space and large-scale installation. This structure will serve as the central venue for festival activities and performances – encompassing both the Common Ground and Kinetic Structure, across two days during Week 1. The build will utilise a wide range of materials, primarily sourced from the site itself, emphasizing sustainability and contextual design.

Impressing Workshop

Thursday 4. June: 10:00–12:00
Location: Brøtsøbruddet
Audience: A-level and bachelor students, open to all

This cyanotype workshop will guide participants through an experiential process, through foraging, spatial awareness, and compositional exercise. Using site specific material, we will experiment together with process of material transformation, imprinting these encounters and sensory impression of the site onto fabric.

Site-Specific Dance Film Workshop

Thursday 11. June: 10:00–13:00
Location: Brøtsøbruddet
Audience: Professional and semi-professional dancers, choreographers, photographers, videographers

A day of bringing together dance artists and film-makers, with a goal to create site-specific dance films responding to the NOT-YET and Bruddet på Brotsø, discovering and testing on-site different ways of storytelling through movement and cinematography.
