KHIO (NO) - ROOM FOR GRACE

Experience works by students from Oslo National Academy of the Arts – Master´s in Design Programme, Specialisation in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design. Delving into the history, etymology, ethics and aesthetics of grace, students arrived at their own sense of the term and its significance.

Thus began the process of developing the conceptual and material presence of the exhibited spatial artefacts, each embodying a particular stance on grace. Dialogue was an essential part of this process: with peers and tutors, as well as with the context. Together, the works form a polyphonic ensemble that gives form to grace in the particular site and within the cultural framework of Færderbiennalen.
